Carling Cup 2004Another Cup Final and this time not against Chelsea. Could we have a chance of lifting our first ever major trophy? Getting back from India on the Friday it was a long trip to get to Cardiff in time to watch the match. Many thanks to Daves parents for letting me stay and the cup of tea :).Another opportunity to win their first major trophy. After a number of close calls was this to be the Boros day?xxx26/07/2004 18:34:11/cms/cms.asp?page=/OffshoreInIndia/Gallery/Fly backs/Carling Cup 2004supporting/offshoreinindia/photos/carlingcup/cup1.jpgMillenium Stadium - CardiffThe millenium stadium in Cardiff. No cheerleaders or anything. Just a big balloon that contained the Boro flag. Well worth it!supporting/offshoreinindia/photos/carlingcup/cup5.jpg Packed to the rafters Packed to the rafters with Boro fans as the match get ready to kick off.supporting/offshoreinindia/photos/carlingcup/cup6.jpg We've done it! What a game! After going 1-0 up in 2 minutes it was doubled to 2-0 after about 9. Bolton managed to hit back with one but we hung on for my greatest moment of following the Boro.
